Islamic State Fighters severely Conquer more Regions in Syrian Kurdistan

Fighters from the Islamic State previously known as ISIS or ISIL(Islamic State in Iraq and greater Shaam)

backed  by tanks,mortars and heavy weaponry severely advanced more in syria by capturing almost 60

Kurdish villages of Syrian kurdistan as the western allied forces assembled to fight them.

                            Syria has been under worst circumstances from the last 3 years since the uprising

Started in March 2011.It all started with nation wide protests against the outstood president Bashar al

Assad, which in return sparked a violence transforming it into a civil war.Over 2 lakh people have been

killed in this ongoing conflict in a span of 3 years.

                                 The recent gains in kurdish areas highlighted the plight of Syrian Kurds who are

against  the rule of Islamic state and are defiantly fighting against them.But the Iraqi Kurds fight on

their own interests.They not only fight against the Islamic state but also with Iraqi armed forces and

other Jihadist groups also.

                                      The forces of Syrian Kurdistan known as YPK or People’s Protection Units are

 the supporters of Syrian regime  and are linked to Syrian president Bashar al Assad.The United states

and its allies think that the Kurds are fighting alongside Syrian government against the Syrian rebels and

Islamic State.Though China ,North korea, Iran and Russia are also indirectly supporting Syrian regime

and are aiding them wth modern weapons,barrel  bombs and warplanes.

                          The Spokesman of Syria’s Kurdish democratic union party or PYD, which supports Assad

government said, “We are ready to join any coalition to face Daesh “, means that the Syrian Kurdish

forces are ready to join the western allied forces to fight against the  Islamic state extremists.

                                                 The Islamic State fighters are severely  advancing more in Syria(Levant) and

 Iraq since the June 2014 Northern Iraq Offensive battle.They took over 60 villages in the Kurdish area

of Syria within 3-4 days with having its headquarters in Ar- Raqqah governate of Syria.Also the number

of fighters in Islamic state or ISIS  is increasing  rapidly. The international communities  say that the

IS consists of over 1 lakh fighters, with most of them fighting in Syria.U.S has been conducting airstrikes

against the Islamic state in Iraq since last month when the fighters tried to push towards the northern

city of Irbil in Iraqi Kurdistan but are not able to much harm them.Moreover U.S  government’s

new plan is to specially train 500 Syrian rebels(only Free Syrian Army) with modern weapons and

armory  for fighting the Islamic state Jihadists.
